Javier Tinoco posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Patriot is 5-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-7 otherwise.

Tinoco's strong effort led Patriot over Rubidoux and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors are a perfect 5-0 against the Falcons going back to March of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
