Baseball Game Preview: Beaufort Eagles vs. Colleton County Cougars

For the second straight game, Beaufort will face off against Colleton County. The Eagles will head out to face off against the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Beaufort turned things around against Colleton County on Monday. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 9-5.

Altman has become a key player for Beaufort: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 0-11 otherwise. Tanner Brutcher also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Colleton County is on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18. As for Beaufort, their victory bumped their record up to 2-12.
