Soccer Game Preview: Glendora vs. Ayala

The Glendora Tartans will take on the Ayala Bulldogs in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Glendora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Glendora fell victim to Walnut and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Ayala and Bonita finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday. There's a chance things could've gone differently had Ayala not been charged with a red card from Daniel Partida.

With that draw, Ayala's record moves to 2-1-4. As for Glendora, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5-2.

Glendora couldn't quite get it done against Ayala in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 4-2. Can the Tartans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
