Wando faced Lucy Beckham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Warriors walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bengals. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.

Wando had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-21, 25-20, 25-22.

Bella Spraul paced Wando's offense, picking up 14 kills. Spraul got some help from McKenna St. Clair and her 44 assists. Finally, Spraul was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

When it comes to explaining why Lucy Beckham lost, don't look at Olivia McGowan. Despite the final result, she had 23 digs and five assists.
