Volleyball Recap: Prospect Takes a Loss

Prospect was the 2-0 winner over Wheeling when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Prospect actually scored more points across those three sets (70-66), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Wheeling, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-10.

Prospect wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Schaumburg on the 16th. As for Wheeling, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Conant on the 16th.
