Softball Recap: Round Rock Takes a Loss

After flying high against Manor last Monday, Round Rock came back down to earth. The Round Rock Dragons fell just short of the Cedar Ridge Raiders by a score of 7-6 on Tuesday. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Round Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Cedar Ridge, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Round Rock will venture away from home to face off against Vandegrift at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Round Rock is facing Vandegrift at the right time seeing as Vandegrift is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Cedar Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on March 25th against McNeil at 7:00 p.m. Cedar Ridge is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.
