Soccer Recap: Athens Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Athens has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Horseheads Blue Raiders. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Athens couldn't quite close it out.

Athens' loss dropped their record down to 10-5-2. As for Horseheads, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

As of now, neither Athens nor the Blue Raiders have any future games scheduled.
