Volleyball Recap: Norton Comes Up Short

Norton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beloit Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Audrey Bina paced Norton's offense, picking up eight kills. Bina got some help from Leah Clark and her 11 assists. Bina was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Beloit, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Coming up, Norton will host Hoxie on Tuesday. As for Beloit, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hoisington on the 20th.
