Softball Recap: St. Louis Park Orioles vs. Kennedy Eagles

St. Louis Park got themselves on the board against Kennedy on Monday, but Kennedy never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Kennedy Eagles with a sharp 10-0 win. For St. Louis Park, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 defeat Kennedy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Not much got past Gabbie Loberg, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep Kennedy off the board.

At the plate, Rowan Jansen was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Taybior, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The victory got St. Louis Park back to even at 10-10. As for Kennedy, they dropped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

St. Louis Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-9 defeat vs. Robbinsdale Armstrong on the 22nd. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
