Basketball Recap: Woodbridge Comes Up Short

Woodbridge was the 64-21 winner over Sayreville when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Woodbridge Barrons were dealt a 56-29 loss at the hands of the Sayreville Bombers on Saturday.

Woodbridge has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Sayreville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Woodbridge will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Metuchen at 4:00 p.m. on February 18th. Sayreville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
