Southwestern won the last time they faced Carlyle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Piasa Birds walked away with a 3-1 win over the Indians/Lady Indians. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Southwestern.

CHASE KALLAL and BRAM BEUTTEL scored all three of Southwestern's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Southwestern's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Carlyle, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Southwestern and Carlyle will both be playing East Alton-Wood River the next time they take the pitch. The Indians/Lady Indians will head out to face the Oilers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Piasa Birds will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
