Softball Recap: Bellaire Comes Up Short

Bellaire was the 7-4 winner over Heights when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell 5-2 to the Bulldogs on Friday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellaire's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13-1. As for Heights, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellaire will head out to take on Fort Bend Clements at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Cardinals are facing the Rangers at the right time seeing as the Rangers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Heights, they are taking a road trip to challenge Houston Math Science & Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
