Football Recap: Wildwood Starts Season with Loss on the Road + How To Watch

Wildwood kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 53-0 loss at the hands of The Villages Charter Buffalo. The Wildcats have struggled against the Buffalo recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

A big part of The Villages Charter's win came down to the chemistry between Ja'Dence Kennedy and his top target Ja'Marian Clark. Kennedy threw for 176 yards and four touchdowns on only nine passes while Clark picked up 50 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wildwood will challenge Leesburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for The Villages Charter, they will take on Lecanto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
