Basketball Recap: Livingston Academy Wildcats vs. White County Warriors
Livingston Academy lost against White County back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Livingston Academy Wildcats took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the White County Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Warriors are ranked seventh).
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead White County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Clark, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Ava Jones was another key player, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.
This is the second loss in a row for Livingston Academy and nudges their season record down to 5-6. As for White County, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-2.
Livingston Academy has already played their next game (against Cumberland County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. White County will head out on the road to face off against Smith County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.7 points per game this season.
