Basketball Recap: Mays Raiders vs. Creekside Seminoles
Mays lost against Creekside back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mays Raiders were beaten by the Creekside Seminoles 96-23. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Seminoles are ranked 13th).
Creekside found their leader in sophomore C?India Dennis, who went 13 for 17 on her way to 30 points. Dennis' evening made it 11 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Sydnee Hunter was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 13 points and three steals.

One thing working in Midtown's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Creekside, they will take on Forest Park at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Creekside is facing Forest Park at the right time seeing as Forest Park is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
