Volleyball Recap: Snake River Takes Down Ranked Highland

Snake River faced Highland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Panthers skirted past the Rams 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Snake River was led to victory by Whitney Edlefsen and Emma Cook. Edlefsen had 15 digs and one assist, while Cook had 11 digs. Those 15 digs gave Edlefsen a new career-high.

Snake River's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Highland, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Snake River didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rigby on the 23rd. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Middleton on the 23rd.
