Basketball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

Hillcrest lost against Evanston back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hawks took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildkits. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest's record now sits at 3-3. As for Evanston, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hillcrest is headed away from home for the first time to take on Thornwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evanston, they will face off against New Trier at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildkits will be up against the Trevians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
