Basketball Recap: The Webb Schools Skates Past Avalon with Ease

The Webb Schools posted their biggest win since November 21, 2024 on Saturday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 69-39 victory over the Avalon Lancers. The Gauls pushed the score to 61-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lancers cut but never quite recovered from.

The Webb Schools' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josef Sharifi, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards. With that strong performance, Sharifi is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game. Another player making a difference was Andrew Paik, who posted 12 points.
