Baseball Game Preview: Krum Bobcats vs. Ranchview Wolves

For the second straight game, Krum will face off against Ranchview. The Bobcats will welcome the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Krum's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Ranchview's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Krum barely beat Ranchview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bobcats put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 12-2 victory on Tuesday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

For Ranchview's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Martin Samford, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Samford launched this season.

Krum has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Ranchview, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11-1.
