Inspiration Academy won the last time they faced Out-of-Door Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions walked away with a 5-1 win over the Thunder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Rylan Autman looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Carter Okuhara was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Inspiration Academy's record now sits at 3-4. As for Out-of-Door Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Inspiration Academy will venture away from home to square off against IMG Academy Royal at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 3.3, the Ascenders 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Out-of-Door Academy, they will face off against IMG Academy White at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ascenders' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Thunder's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
