Baseball Recap: Clinton Takes a Loss

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Onsted Wildcats, falling 9-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-3 loss on Tuesday.

Quinn Walden was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Clinton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Onsted, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Clinton will square off against rival Madison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Onsted is set to challenge their familiar foe Dundee at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
