Basketball Recap: Carolina International Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carolina International played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 64-27 defeat at the hands of the Cuthbertson Cavaliers. The Comets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-16.

Grady Webb was a one-man wrecking crew For Cuthbertson. as he shot 64% from the field en route to 21 points and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Gunby, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds.

Carolina International dropped their record down to 0-3 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Cuthbertson, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Carolina International will head out to challenge Rocky River at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cuthbertson, they have already played their next game, a 62-46 win against Pine Lake Prep on the 22nd.
