Softball Recap: Marlette Takes a Loss

Marlette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-4 to the Mt. Pleasant Oilers.

Marlette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Mt. Pleasant, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

Marlette didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 10-4 loss against Webberville on the 19th. As for Mt. Pleasant, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Vestaburg on the 19th.
