Eastern Alamance gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They breezed past the Morehead Panthers to the tune of 57-12. The Eagles pushed the score to 48-9 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers had no chance of recovering from.

Eastern Alamance was led to victory by Rihanna Gregory and Makayla Scott. Gregory shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds, while Scott went 7-for-10 to rack up 17 points along with six boards and three steals. Scott's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aliya Trollinger, who posted five points and six rebounds.

Morehead's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Eastern Alamance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-33 victory against South Granville on the 21st. Morehead has also already played their next matchup (against Northeast Guilford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
