Volleyball Recap: Kennedy Commanders vs. Denver Waldorf Spartans

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Denver Waldorf Spartans.

Adan Villar paced Kennedy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Villar got some help from Ken Le and his 17 assists. Sebastian Palacio and Thanh Le kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Denver Waldorf, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.

Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Denver Waldorf, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Hinkley on the 2nd.
