            Elizabeth Seton will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bishop McNamara Mustangs  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Elizabeth Seton is headed into the  match having just  suffered their biggest  loss since March 28th on Friday. They lost  14-1 to St. Mary's Ryken. Elizabeth Seton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Elizabeth Seton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kimmya Sims, who  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
Meanwhile, Bishop McNamara didn't have quite enough to beat Bishop O'Connell on Thursday and fell  4-3.
  Jaslyne Ivey was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with one  home run. Another  was  Christina Brown, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Elizabeth Seton's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Bishop McNamara, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 9-10.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Saturday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Elizabeth Seton has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.5  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bishop McNamara struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.6  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Elizabeth Seton was able to grind out a solid  victory over Bishop McNamara in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024, winning  8-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elizabeth Seton since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
