Football Recap: Oak Park-River Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oak Park-River Forest had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it six. They came up short against the Downers Grove North Trojans, falling 21-0. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 28-7 to the Trojans when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Downers Grove North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Among those leading the charge was Caden Chiarelli, who rushed for 81 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Oak Park-River Forest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-6 defeat against Lyons on the 10th. As for Downers Grove North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 41-28 victory against York on the 10th.
