Organ Mountain came into Monday's match looking for another win against Alamogordo, but Teeya Gordon wouldn't allow it. The Alamogordo Tigers managed a 48-44 win over the Organ Mountain Knights on Monday thanks in part to Gordon, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 15 boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Organ Mountain still got an impressive performance from Siena Gonzales, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was April Herrod, who put up 12 points.

Alamogordo's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 4-19. As for Organ Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Alamogordo has already played their next game, a 44-26 defeat against Mayfield on the 13th. As for Organ Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-33 loss against Las Cruces on the 13th.
