Basketball Recap: Lordstown Comes Up Short

Lordstown lost against Windham back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Devils might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 63-58 to the Bombers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Lordstown still got an impressive performance from Ganon Force, who went 9-for-18 to rack up 20 points. Force continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Seth Chambers, who made all 5 shots he took racking up 14 points.

Lordstown's record now sits at 1-3. As for Windham, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Lordstown won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Champion at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Windham, they are taking a road trip to take on Bristol at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
