Marmaton Valley waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Erie Red Devils a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Marmaton Valley pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Erie, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-17-1.
