Ohio ranked No. 5 nationally with 157 boys and 165 girls honorees.
With the U.S. Olympic swimming team nearing the Olympics, the
National Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association recently released its list
of high school All-Americans.
The lists compile the top 100
performances in each event during the recently completed school year. Ohio is fifth nationally in the number of athletes,
while California came in at No. 1 with 750 honorees.
Led by
Matt Zimmerman of St. Francis de Sales and Sarah Koucheki of Hawken, Ohio had 157 boys All-Americans and 165 girls honorees,
respectively.
