Sierra hasn't had much luck against Oakdale recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Timberwolves will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Sierra is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Sierra fell victim to Manteca and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buffaloes. The loss was the Timberwolves' first of the season.

Oakdale never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Ceres on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 18-8 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Mustangs' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sierra fell to 4-1. As for Oakdale, the win was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-3.
