Soccer Recap: Berea-Midpark Comes Up Short

Berea-Midpark lost against Avon Lake back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Titans came up short against the Shoremen, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Berea-Midpark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 375th, while Avon Lake are ranked eighth).

Berea-Midpark has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-3 record this season. As for Avon Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1-2.

As for Avon Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Brecksville-Broadview Heights on the 11th.
