Basketball Game Preview: Lanphier Lions vs. Glenwood Titans

The Lanphier Lions will challenge the Glenwood Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Lanphier was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 42-41 to Normal University. The Lions have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Glenwood entered their tilt with Springfield Southeast on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Spartans 52-37. 52 seems to be a good number for the Titans as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.

Glenwood pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.2 points over those games. As for Lanphier, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
