Soccer Recap: Aiken Gets the Win

After losing to Lancaster the last time they met, Aiken decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets put the hurt on the Lancaster Bruins with a sharp 8-0 win on Saturday. Resa Slack was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Aiken's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Lancaster, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Aiken wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Airport on the 3rd. As for Lancaster, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-0 victory against Richland Northeast on the 6th.
