Mobile Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They blew past the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Leopards as they're now sitting on nine straight dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Mobile Christian took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-10, 25-7.

Ella Manning paced Mobile Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Manning got some help from Haley Eldridge and her 20 assists. Alexis Scott and Kensley Shanahan kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Mobile Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Shades Valley on the 22nd. As for St. Michael Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Buckhorn on the 22nd.
