Softball Preview: Crooksville Ceramics vs. Fort Frye Cadets
The Crooksville Ceramics will take on the Fort Frye Cadets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crooksville's pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so Fort Frye's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Crooksville came out on top against Coshocton on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fourth inning. The Ceramics were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the Redskins. The Ceramics might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.
Dalena Rollison made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
