Baseball Recap: Lockport Finds Playoff Glory Versus Sweet Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lockport walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sweet Home Panthers on Saturday, sneaking past 5-4.

Lockport's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sweet Home, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10-1.

Lockport has already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Hamburg on the 27th. Sweet Home does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
