Basketball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Amesbury Redhawks, falling 69-20.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Amesbury, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salem will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winthrop at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Amesbury, they and Whittier RVT will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
