Deer Park strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the West Valley Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Stags, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

Hailey Thompson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run.
