Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Lutheran Starts Season with Loss at Home

Rocky Mountain Lutheran unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Elbert Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Izzy Curtis paced Rocky Mountain Lutheran's offense, picking up seven kills. Curtis got some help from Jadyn Morgan and her nine assists. Curtis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Rocky Mountain Lutheran will take on Flatirons Academy in a tournament on Saturday. As for Elbert, they will welcome Peyton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
