Baseball Recap: Northside Grizzlies vs. Bentonville West Wolverines

Northside had lost six straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-2 to make it seven. They came up short against the Bentonville West Wolverines, falling 12-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Grizzlies have suffered since March 13, 2025.

As for Bentonville West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

For Bentonville West's part, they got a great performance from Jonathan McAlindon as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits.

At the plate, Kaysen Gill was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Howard, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
