Basketball Recap: Ozarks Christian Academy Takes Down Providence Classical Christian Academy in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Ozarks Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 75-49 margin over the Providence Classical Christian Academy Panthers. The Guardians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lance Zrodlowski, who went 7-for-16 en route to 17 points and eight assists. The dominant performance gave Zrodlowski a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Ben Mattull, who posted 15 points in addition to five rebounds and four blocks.

Ozarks Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points over those games. Providence Classical Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.
