Soccer Recap: Hays Takes a Loss

Hays lost against Dodge City back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians fell just short of the Demons by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Hays have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Dani Willeford, who's now up to five this season.

Hays has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. As for Dodge City, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Hays has already played their next game, a 6-2 win against Liberal on the 10th. As for Dodge City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 9-0 victory against South on the 10th.
