With a playoff win on the line, Norfolk Academy rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Norfolk Academy, who have now won 15 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Fredericksburg Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addy Hennessy (3), Maria Delyannis (3), Carter Inman, and Kate Fine.

The victory (which was Norfolk Academy's sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those six matches. As for Fredericksburg Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-1.

As of now, neither Norfolk Academy nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
