Basketball Recap: Wissahickon Comes Up Short

On Friday, the Wissahickon Trojans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-36 to the Delaware County Christian Knights. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 526th, while the Knights are ranked 208th).

Wissahickon has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season. As for Delaware County Christian, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

As of now, neither Wissahickon nor Delaware County Christian have any future games scheduled.
