Baseball Recap: Cox Mill Find Success

Cox Mill won the last time they faced A.L. Brown and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cox Mill Chargers walked away with a 5-0 win over the A.L. Brown Wonders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Chargers.

John Ingle tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over 4.2 innings pitched. Those 13 strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

On the hitting side, Cox Mill's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trendyn Motley, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Cox Mill now has a winning record of 2-1. As for A.L. Brown, they dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Cox Mill will have a chance to go back-to-back against A.L. Brown: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
