Baseball Recap: Carolina Forest Takes a Loss

Carolina Forest fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Conway on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Gatlin Pasco was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 4-for-5. Another player making a difference was Mark Allen Jr., who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Carolina Forest's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Conway, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

While Carolina Forest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
