Baseball Recap: Littleton Lions vs. Denver South Ravens
After flying high against Wheat Ridge on Friday, Littleton came back down to earth. The Lions took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Denver South Ravens on Saturday.

Mario Flores was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.
Flores wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Kusner, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that Kusner hit this season.
