Soccer Game Preview: Davis vs. Wenatchee

The Davis Pirates will face off against the Wenatchee Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Davis is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Davis' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against West Valley by a score of 2-0. Two seems to be a good number for Davis as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wenatchee, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Sunnyside on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering Wenatchee have won three games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Wenatchee's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four contests. As for Davis, their win bumped their record up to 5-3-1.
